NEW YORK – March 2, 2022 – Forbes today revealed the final line up for the inaugural Forbes 30/50 Summit, a global event gathering generations of women from both the “30 Under 30” list and “50 Over 50” lists in Abu Dhabi taking place March 6-9, 2022 to mark International Women’s Day.
Chaired by “Know Your Value” founder and Co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski, the ground-breaking event will bring together inspirational global leaders, including former US Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton and honorees from Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and 50 Over 50 lists, with the mission of forming world-changing alliances. This event will also be a powerful catalyst for change, in a region that has lagged in gender equality. It will also address the issues that Putin’s invasion, and the ensuing tragedy, has brought forward – with Secretary Clinton addressing the situation directly.

One of the event’s highlights on the evening of March 7 is a Global Fashion Showcase led by AFI and spotlighting seven breakthrough designers – under 30 and over 50 – from Africa, the UAE and the United States for an enchanting, multi-perspective show focused on women empowerment. Designers featured include Shamyra Moodley of LaaniRaani (South Africa), Tshepo Mafokwane of Sober Design House (South Africa),  Marie Louis Bishara (Egypt), Madagascar-born Eric Raisina, Christie Brown (Ghana), Sara Tamimi (UAE) and Sima Azadegan of Sima Collezione (US).
In addition, UAE Cycling Team ADQ will lead a “Mindful Moment” session on the morning of International Women’s Day, allowing delegates to carve out time for meditation and exercise to kick start the day.
