Investments from UAE face tighter scrutiny – Economic Times

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged states to pay off power sector dues worth an estimated ₹2.5 lakh crore, ruing the politics that has landed the sector in trouble in many states.

The Central Board of Trustees (CBT) of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) deferred a decision on increasing the equity investment limit from 15% to 20% at a meeting on Saturday, citing the volatile market situation.
